Since 1 June 2025, single-use vapes can’t be sold in the UK. Most people who used disposables have moved to pod kits: small rechargeable devices that are just as simple to use.
Prefilled pod kits
A prefilled kit is the closest thing to a disposable. You charge the battery and click in a sealed pod. When the pod is empty, you swap it for a new one.

Refillable pod kits
A refillable kit has an empty pod you fill from a 10ml bottle of nic salt. You replace the pod or coil every week or two.

- Much cheaper to run
- Takes a minute to fill
Which strength?
Nic salts come in 10mg and 20mg in the UK. If you smoked more than about 10 a day, 20mg is a common starting point. Lighter smokers often prefer 10mg.
This product contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance.
